If you live in Dorset, and are aged 16-24 (inclusive), you can order the contraceptive pill online through our digital sexual health service, SH:24.

If you are aged 25 or above and you require contraception pills, please speak to your GP or local pharmacy. Find a pharmacy that offers the contraceptive pill without a prescription - NHS (www.nhs.uk)

Contraceptive pill by post

  • Both the progesterone-only-pill (POP) and the combined oral contraceptive (COC) pill are available.

 

  • A quick, confidential assessment will make sure this method of contraception is right for you.
  • Contraception is sent by first class post in a plain envelope.
  • You will not have to be in or sign for the package – it will fit through your letter box.
  • SH:24 provide the same oral contraception as NHS clinics and pharmacies.
  • You can also get support via text or phone from SH:24’s clinicians, seven days a week.
